about

Alice Anderson was a young woman ahead of her time. She was a pioneer, an inventor and had the first all girl garage in Melbourne in the 1920's.

lyrics

She was a pioneer
1920's era
She was a Melbourne girl like me

She had her own garage
Where women were in charge
She had a Limo and a dream

Alice Anderson, Alice Anderson

She had an invention
But didn't patent it
So it was stolen by a man

She died so tragically
Only 29 years
Imagine what she could have done

Alice Anderson, Alice Anderson
You're my hero, you're my hero

Every time that I check my dipstick I'll think of you Alice Anderson
